Lent begins on March 1, 2006

Beginning with a Worship Service of Holy Communion (and Imposition of Ashes) on Ash Wednesday, March 1, the season of Lent will once again take center stage in the worship life of Oak Cliff Lutheran Church.

The Sermon Series for the Mid-Week Services of Lent (beginning with Ash Wednesday) is entitled "PORTRAITS OF A SAVIOR" as seen through the eyes of those who were witnesses to this Jesus of Nazareth who burst upon the scene in a new and unique way.

The order of service will be an abbreviated Service of the Word (with the exception of Ash Wednesday).
